VieM Yatırım Ltd. (VieM Investments Ltd) is a rooted and respected medium size investment company offering services in energy and retail industries.

It was founded as Gigin Danışmanlık & Ticaret in 1998 with the idea of gathering family investments under a single roof. In its almost 20 year journey, it changed its name to VieM and turned into a group of companies connected with the purpose of creating value for its shareholders in a number of industries. From the start, VieM became a part of several developed and shaped industries and gained subsidiaries.

CONTINUING ACTIVITIES

In a joint company in the retail industry, Tekzen was taken over by VieM in 1998 as the first member of DIY union of stores. Tekzen, which had stores in Turkey, Romania and Cyprus, is one of the most popular DIY Store Chain of Turkey with its 115 sales points.

VieM began investing in solar energy in 2012. Today it reached 8.5 MW production capacity as ZEN Energy brand, and it is preparing to improve over 30 MW level. ZEN Enerji also evaluates opportunities in wind energy production, geothermal and waste heat recycling systems, and other renewable project areas.

Agromak, trailers, off-road vehicles, small-engined Go-Kart, cultivators, and rototillers for agriculture with production priority and similar vehicles are among the first investments of VieM.

Although it still produces caravans, Agromak turned its focus to the production of patonoster, plywood cutting machine, and small tools which are used in retail. Agromak is also designed as a technical service center for almost all electrical and motor-operated tools that are directly imported by Tekzen.

Similar to its past achievements, VieM is strongly positioned with the purpose of realizing and developing other projects with its subsidiaries and group companies which are specialized in the industry by benefiting from comprehensive know-how so that more value can be created for investment and shareholders in new business areas. Focusing on its customers, employees, suppliers and subsidiaries, VieM is increasingly known for its competence based on knowledge, skill, experience, and professional ethics and will continue these activities with the same enthusiasm.
