Emphasizing that they obtained their 2015 budget targets, Ileri reported that they recorded a 68% growth in turnover and 120% growth in storage area. Ileri also predicted that their growth trend would continue to rise.

Founded with the purpose of storing and distributing the products to be sold at Tekzen DIY stores, Maxlines Lojistik has continued its activities since 2012 restructuring decisions in vehicle tracking, fleet management, order management, and warehouse management, all of which require usage of informatics technologies. Stating that they have incorporated the food, furniture, and chemical product industry to their areas of activity in addition to construction industry, İleri claimed that they have progressed with the vision of “Maximum speed, maximum efficiency”.

Asserting that they have been affected by the crisis in the industry as there was a deficit of companies in DIY store products logistics market, Ileri drew attention to the fact that they overcame the crisis by growing. Adding that they have made a five-year budgeting planning, Ileri went on: “At the end of every month the harmony between real and predicted figures is reviewed. If any, the reasons and solution suggestions are displayed and, when necessary, the budget is revised. Therefore until 2017 our targets and investment plans at Maxlines are decided. We are continuing to work in this direction.”

Antalya aims at turning its warehouse into a distribution center.

Stating that they put into service a total 7,000 square meters of storing area, Ileri explained, “In the meantime, we are aiming at increasing the storage capacity of Antalya and, with the propelling force of our flagship Tekzen, making this region the center of a furniture distribution network, as Antalya is one of the four provinces with specialist customs and it is the most suitable province in terms of a location for port services.” Ileri announced that they plan to open a branch in China and optimize cost and service balance.

Reporting that the distribution fleet of their company is constructed by their own vehicles and contracted vehicles based on leasing, Ileri said that they performed distribution works with these vehicles. Stating that they had a total of 32,000 square meters of closed area as national storage and cross dock area, Ileri informed that they performed FTL, LTL, address delivery, project transportation, and explosive transportation from eight points in Izmir, Antalya, Tarsus, Bursa, Ankara, and Istanbul (3). Ileri said, “Also in our warehouses, added-value services are being given based on the demands of our customers such as labelling and packaging”. Ileri also informed that their delivery points abroad are Erbil, Romania, and Cyprus where Tekzen DIY store sales points were located.

Mentioning the basic problem of the industry, Ileri drew attention to the fact that the actions as regards the “Transformation Program from Transportation to Logistics”, which was aimed at the 10th Five-Year Development Plan, could not be realized. Ileri underlined that a logistics coordination board should be established and all policies and institutions of the industry should be coordinated.
